Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- HIV antibody/antigen test negative at enrollment
- Age 18 years or older
- Able to give informed consent
- Injected non-prescribed drugs within the last 6 months
- No prior use of cabotegravir
- PrEP provider agrees cabotegravir is appropriate before enrollment
You will not qualify if you...
- Pregnant or breastfeeding individuals
- No vaginal or anal sex in the past 6 months
- Indeterminate or positive HIV test at screening or before starting treatment
- Already diagnosed with HIV
- Taking Carbamazepine, Rifampin, Oxcarbazepine, Rifapentine, Phenobarbital, or Phenytoin
