Long-Term Follow-Up in Patients With Acute Myocardial Infarction Cohort - a Prospective, Multicenter Study

Researchers are conducting a long-term follow-up study on survivors of acute myocardial infarction (AMI) who previously participated in a myocardial protection system research project. The study aims to monitor these patients at 3 and 5 years after hospital discharge to evaluate their medication use, health status, and occurrence of major adverse cardiovascular and cerebrovascular events (MACCE), such as death, heart failure, rehospitalization, re-infarction, revascularization, stroke, malignant arrhythmia, and bleeding events. Participants are grouped based on whether they received optimized treatment during their initial care or not. The study observes the effects of different treatment strategies, including emergency treatment, pre-reperfusion medication, reperfusion strategy selection, and early cardiac rehabilitation after reperfusion. Comparisons will be made between optimized and non-optimized treatment groups, as well as among groups guided by different diagnostic methods and rehabilitation quality. During the study, participants will be followed up primarily through telephone at 3 years and 5 years post-discharge. Researchers will collect information on clinical outcomes, medication adherence, and health status. The main outcome measured is the incidence of MACCE at 5 years, along with secondary analyses comparing event rates between different treatment and rehabilitation groups. The study's total duration extends up to 5 years after discharge, enabling long-term monitoring of patient health.
