Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Age 18 to 75 years
- Spinal cord injury with neurological level from C6 to T12
- ASIA Impairment Scale A through D
- Injury either acute (less than 3 months prior) or chronic (more than 1 year since injury)
You will not qualify if you...
- Symptoms of cardiovascular, respiratory, peripheral neurological, or autonomic diseases, including hypertension, stroke, chest pain, or diabetes requiring treatment
- Women who are pregnant or lactating
- Taking medications that may interact adversely with phenylephrine
- Any illness or condition that, in the investigator's judgment, interferes with protocol compliance, patient safety, or study result interpretation
