Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Age between 45 and 74 years old
- Smoker with at least 30 pack-years or former smoker who quit less than 15 years ago
- Never participated in a lung cancer screening program
- Signed the free and informed consent form
You will not qualify if you...
- Advanced chronic diseases (cardiovascular, pulmonary, hepatic, renal, or metabolic) limiting life expectancy or curative surgery
- Currently treated for tuberculosis or other granulomatous diseases
- Previous cancers that may cause lung metastases
- Pregnant women
- Unable to undergo low-dose chest CT
- Previous thoracic radiotherapy
