Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Patients with lung cancer diagnosed between January 1, 2018 and the end of the selection period
- Patients aged 18 years or older at diagnosis
- Patients with at least 12 months of health insurance coverage before diagnosis date
You will not qualify if you...
- Diagnosis of any other cancer within 5 years before January 1, 2018
- Diagnosis of any other cancer on the same date as lung cancer diagnosis
- Records with missing or invalid key information such as diagnosis year or cancer type
- Non-residents of Ontario or Alberta at the time of diagnosis
