Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Patients with lung cancer diagnosed between January 1, 2018 and the end of the selection period
  • Patients aged 18 years or older at diagnosis
  • Patients with at least 12 months of health insurance coverage before diagnosis date
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Diagnosis of any other cancer within 5 years before January 1, 2018
  • Diagnosis of any other cancer on the same date as lung cancer diagnosis
  • Records with missing or invalid key information such as diagnosis year or cancer type
  • Non-residents of Ontario or Alberta at the time of diagnosis
