Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Patients who have given informed consent
  • Patients at least 18 years old
  • Patients with local, locally advanced, or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer planned for resection or surgical biopsy of at least one lesion
  • Tumor lesion to be biopsied or resected must be at least 10 mm in short axis for invaded lymph nodes or 10 mm in long axis for other lesions
  • Patients who previously participated in this study may be included again if they meet all inclusion and no exclusion criteria at the time of second inclusion
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group (ECOG) performance status 3 or higher
  • Pregnant patients
  • Breastfeeding patients
  • Patients with any serious active infection
  • Patients with any other life-threatening illness or organ dysfunction that may compromise safety or interfere with study evaluation
  • Patients unlikely to cooperate with study requirements
  • Patients unwilling or unable to give informed consent
  • Patients at increased risk of death from a pre-existing concurrent illness
