Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Female
- Documented breast physical examination
- Documented mammography within 3 months of the MR studies
- Palpable or mammographically-detected suspect breast lesions
- Women who have had lumpectomy for breast cancer with suspicious post-biopsy or post-radiation changes meriting biopsy
You will not qualify if you...
- Male by birth
- Unable to complete the MR examination
- Have pacemakers, metallic implants, or aneurysm clips
- Severe claustrophobia
- Pregnancy
- Currently lactating
- Other conditions preventing proximity to a strong magnetic field
- Received enhanced MR procedure within 48 hours
- Received iodinated contrast within six hours
- Known sensitivity to MR contrast agents
- Unlikely to complete the study fully
- Other clinical reasons precluding participation
