Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Age 18 years or older at time of consent
- Histologically confirmed cT0-4, N1 breast cancer
- Axillary lymph node metastasis confirmed by needle biopsy
- Clip placed in the sampled axillary lymph node before chemotherapy
- Planned neo-adjuvant chemotherapy before surgery
- Eligible for targeted axillary dissection after chemotherapy
- ECOG performance status 0-2
You will not qualify if you...
- Presence of distant metastases
- Inflammatory breast cancer
- Prior surgery on the same side axilla including SLND or node excision
- Previous breast cancer in the same breast
- History of lymphoma
- Pregnancy
- Previous radiation to breast or axilla
- Pacemaker or implantable cardiac device on the same chest side
