Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Type 2 diabetic for more than 5 years.
  • Well controlled diabetes with glycated hemoglobinC7%.
  • Normal to mild ventilatory functions impairment.
  • Aged between 65 and 70 years.
  • Body mass index less than 30 Kg/m2.
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Other types of diabetes.
  • Any other chronic chest diseases.
  • Cardiovascular disorders including coronary heart disease, heart failure, cardiac arrhythmia, peripheral arterial disease, uncontrolled hypertension.
  • Smokers.
  • Rheumatoid arthritis.
  • Musculoskeletal or neurological limitations to exercise.
