Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Previous diagnosis of oropharyngeal cancer (any histological type)
- Completed curative (chemo)radiotherapy of at least 68Gy to the primary site within 1 year before inclusion
- Age over 18 years
- Ability to provide written and informed consent
You will not qualify if you...
- Pregnancy
- Surgery or Botox injections in the head and neck tissue
- Locoregional deep infection such as suspected abscess at measurement times
- Prior daily treatment with self-manual lymphatic drainage
- Other treatments for head and neck lymphedema, for example compression
- Psychiatric disorders
- Substance abuse problems
