Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Glasgow Coma scale 15
- ASA Physical Status Classification System I - III
- Planned surgery for brain tumor lasting up to 5 hours
- Postoperative awakening
You will not qualify if you...
- NYHA class III or IV heart failure
- Abuse of stimulating drugs, cannabis, or alcohol dependence
- Body mass index over 40 in females or over 35 in males
- Allergy to propofol
- Awake surgeries
- Postoperative artificial ventilation
