Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Newly diagnosed AJCC 8th edition Stage III-IVB mucosal squamous cell carcinoma of the head and neck, including tumors from the oral cavity, nasal cavity, paranasal sinuses, nasopharynx, oropharynx, hypopharynx, and larynx
- Available tissue for tumor-informed ctDNA panel creation
- Planned definitive treatment with standard of care surgery or chemoradiotherapy at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Institute or Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center locations
You will not qualify if you...
- Younger than 18 years of age
- Receiving non-standard of care therapy as determined by the clinical investigator
- Prior surgical resection, excisional biopsy, radiation, or chemotherapy for head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (prior incisional biopsies allowed)
- Receiving investigational agents at time of enrollment
- AJCC Stage IVC head and neck squamous cell carcinoma with biopsy-confirmed distant metastases
- Active malignancy other than head and neck squamous cell carcinoma
- Active pregnancy during treatment
