Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Female
- Age between 18 and 35 years
- Regular menstrual cycle lasting 26 to 35 days
- No use of hormonal contraception for at least the prior 3 months
- Regular sleep patterns with 7 to 9 hours per night
- Not taking any medications or supplements
- Weight greater than 110 pounds
- Body Mass Index between 18.5 and 29.5 kg/m2
You will not qualify if you...
- Primary sleep disorder
- History of shift work
- Transmeridian travel within the past 3 months
- Presence of acute or chronic diseases including diabetes, metabolic disorders, psychiatric illness, or reproductive disorders
- Current pregnancy, less than 6 months postpartum, or breastfeeding
- Blood donation within the past 8 weeks
- Extreme morning or evening chronotype
