Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Definitive diagnosis of brain tumors by imaging showing any brain malignancy including glioma, meningioma, or brain metastases before any chemotherapy or radiation treatment
  • Age between 18 and 70 years
  • Ability to understand and willingness to sign informed consent
  • Ability to read and speak English (Spanish speakers may be included later)
  • Women of child-bearing potential must agree to use effective contraception during the study
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Receiving any other investigational agents
  • Previous or current treatment with radiation or chemotherapy
  • Active infections or uncontrolled chronic diseases such as hypertension, lung, liver, kidney disease, diabetes, congestive heart failure, unstable angina, cardiac arrhythmias, or psychiatric/social issues limiting compliance
  • History of alcohol abuse or illicit drug use
  • Pregnant or nursing women
  • Contraindications to contrast-enhanced MRI including medical instability, certain implants or devices, claustrophobia
  • Kidney function with eGFR ≤ 30 mL/min/1.73m2
  • Sickle cell disease or hemolytic anemia
