Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Definitive diagnosis of brain tumors by imaging showing any brain malignancy including glioma, meningioma, or brain metastases before any chemotherapy or radiation treatment
- Age between 18 and 70 years
- Ability to understand and willingness to sign informed consent
- Ability to read and speak English (Spanish speakers may be included later)
- Women of child-bearing potential must agree to use effective contraception during the study
You will not qualify if you...
- Receiving any other investigational agents
- Previous or current treatment with radiation or chemotherapy
- Active infections or uncontrolled chronic diseases such as hypertension, lung, liver, kidney disease, diabetes, congestive heart failure, unstable angina, cardiac arrhythmias, or psychiatric/social issues limiting compliance
- History of alcohol abuse or illicit drug use
- Pregnant or nursing women
- Contraindications to contrast-enhanced MRI including medical instability, certain implants or devices, claustrophobia
- Kidney function with eGFR ≤ 30 mL/min/1.73m2
- Sickle cell disease or hemolytic anemia
