Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Born between 25 0/7 and 29 6/7 weeks of gestation
  • Less than 48 hours old at first lipid dose
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Serious congenital anomalies
  • Conditions at birth requiring surgery before discharge
  • Imminent death with expected withdrawal of intensive care support within 72 hours after birth
