Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Confirmed HIV infection
- Progression to AIDS stage with CD4+ count less than 200 cells/ul and/or AIDS opportunistic infections
- Age between 18 and 65 years
- Diagnosis of severe pneumonia based on 2021 ATS and IDSA guidelines or septic shock according to 2018 Chinese Society of Critical Care Medicine guidelines
You will not qualify if you...
- Central nervous system lesions, severe liver disease, or cirrhosis
- Concurrent AIDS-related or unrelated tumors
- Pregnant or breastfeeding women
- Severe underlying diseases of heart, lungs, liver, kidneys, or other organs
- Alcohol abuse or drug use
- Overall condition judged by researcher to interfere with trial evaluation or completion
