Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Age 18 to less than 85 years
- Chronic coronary syndrome including anginal equivalents
- Angina classified as CCS class II to IV
- Evidence of reversible ischemia on non-invasive testing
- Availability of measurements including index of microvascular resistances, resting full-cycle ratio, fractional flow reserve, and coronary flow reserve
- Ability and willingness to understand and sign informed consent prior to procedure
You will not qualify if you...
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding
- Medical or psychological conditions that would prevent proper participation
- Left ventricular ejection fraction less than 30%
- Previous coronary artery bypass surgery to all major branches in the LAD and LCX territory preventing measurement of index of microvascular resistances
- Decompensated congestive heart failure
- Chronic or acute renal failure with creatinine greater than 2 mg/dl
- Severe valvular heart disease
- Comorbidities limiting life expectancy to less than one year
