Who Can Participate

Age: 18Years +
FEMALE

Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Female sex.
  • 18 years or older.
  • Breast cancer visible on ultrasound.
  • Histologically confirmed non-lobular invasive breast carcinoma measuring 15 mm or less by ultrasound.
  • Willing and able to have preoperative breast MRI.
  • Able to complete the breast cancer risk questionnaire.
  • Able to provide informed consent.
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Male sex.
  • Age 17 years or younger.
  • No confirmed invasive breast cancer.
  • Poor visibility of breast cancer on ultrasound.
  • Receiving neoadjuvant therapy.
  • Contraindications to breast MRI or intravenous contrast.
  • Unable to complete the questionnaire.
  • Unable to provide informed consent.
  • Presence of breast implants.
  • Pregnancy.
  • Additional malignant lesions on the same side detected by MRI.
