Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Female sex.
- 18 years or older.
- Breast cancer visible on ultrasound.
- Histologically confirmed non-lobular invasive breast carcinoma measuring 15 mm or less by ultrasound.
- Willing and able to have preoperative breast MRI.
- Able to complete the breast cancer risk questionnaire.
- Able to provide informed consent.
You will not qualify if you...
- Male sex.
- Age 17 years or younger.
- No confirmed invasive breast cancer.
- Poor visibility of breast cancer on ultrasound.
- Receiving neoadjuvant therapy.
- Contraindications to breast MRI or intravenous contrast.
- Unable to complete the questionnaire.
- Unable to provide informed consent.
- Presence of breast implants.
- Pregnancy.
- Additional malignant lesions on the same side detected by MRI.
