Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Age 40 to 79 years
  • Clinically significant anxiety and/or depression
  • Stroke occurred 1 month or more before study start
  • Ability to provide consent
  • Mild or less cognitive difficulties
  • Stable dose of depression/anxiety medication for at least 8 weeks if applicable
  • Ability to use iPhone or iPad independently
  • Home internet access
  • Willing to participate for full study duration
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Moderate or severe aphasia
  • Not fluent in English
  • History of bipolar or psychotic disorder
  • Current alcohol or substance use disorder
  • Active suicidal thoughts
  • Receiving psychotherapy focused on CBT
  • Severe depression or anxiety needing higher care
  • Any other medical or clinical reason deemed unsuitable by study doctor
