Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Age 1 through 18 years
- Patients admitted to the PICU with concerns for sepsis or developing sepsis during their hospital stay
- Enrollment within 24 hours from starting antibiotic treatment for sepsis or from arrival at the emergency department
- Signed informed consent
You will not qualify if you...
- Patients younger than 1 year old
- Patients older than 18 years old
