Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Fluent in English
- Completed high school education or higher
- Body mass index (BMI) between 19 and 30 kg/m2
- Age between 18 and 40 years
You will not qualify if you...
- Medical conditions that prevent study participation as judged by the study doctor (e.g., liver disease, abnormal EKG, cardiovascular disease)
- High blood pressure (greater than 140/90)
- Current suicidal thoughts or suicide attempt within the past 12 months
- Severe substance use disorder within the past year
- Personal or first-degree family history of psychosis
- Currently taking any psychiatric medication (must be off conventional antidepressants for at least 2 weeks)
- Active panic disorder
- Severe obsessive-compulsive disorder
- Severe post-traumatic stress disorder
- Women who are pregnant or planning to become pregnant
