Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Clinical diagnosis of morphea confirmed by primary investigator and histopathology
- Ages 0 to 90 years old
- Children must weigh over 20 pounds
- Patient or guardian must read and speak at a 6th grade level
- Both male and female patients eligible
- All races and ethnic backgrounds included
- Family history of morphea or systemic sclerosis reviewed with contact info provided for family members
- Ability to give informed consent or assent with guardian consent for minors
You will not qualify if you...
- Patients coded as morphea (701.0) but diagnosed with other conditions such as steroid atrophy, acquired keratoderma, keloids, nephrogenic fibrosing dermopathy, systemic sclerosis, or lichen sclerosis
