Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Knee pain mainly in the medial compartment, not throughout the entire knee
- WOMAC pain score of 40 or higher
- Lack of relief from non-surgical treatments
You will not qualify if you...
- Large medial osteophytes or significant meniscus extrusion that may affect device placement
- Poor bone quality such as erosion, osteopenia, or osteoporosis
- Ligament instability in the knee
- Active or recent knee infection
- Inflammatory joint disease or consequences of viral infections
- Known allergy or sensitivity to cobalt, chromium, nickel, or other metals
- History of keloid, hypertrophic, or contracture scarring
- Tendency for restrictive scar formation or adhesions from prior procedures
