Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Adults aged 18 to 45 years with a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) confirmed by a licensed professional based on DSM-5
- Motivation to complete a 6-week VR-based motor function training program
- Full-scale IQ greater than 70 on the WAIS-IV
- Adults aged 18 to 45 years without a diagnosis of ASD
- Full-scale IQ greater than 70 on the WAIS-IV
You will not qualify if you...
- History of major mental illness such as bipolar affective disorder, schizophrenia, or psychosis
- Neurological diseases like stroke, lumbar radiculopathy, spinal cord injury, or neurosurgery affecting walking function
- Visual or hearing impairments that prevent participation in motor assessments or training
