Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Children aged between 7 and 12 years
  • Children with a clinical diagnosis of Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD) based on DSM-5 criteria, diagnosed by a pediatrician
  • Children suspected of having DCD evaluated by the research team using diagnostic criteria
  • Balance problems confirmed by a Kids-BESTest-2 score below 80% for children with DCD
  • Children without DCD scoring at or below the 25th percentile on Movement Assessment Battery for Children, second edition
  • Normal postural control confirmed by a Kids-BESTest-2 score at or above 80% for children without DCD
  • Children without DCD matched with children with DCD by sex, age, and potential comorbidities
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Presence of intellectual problems
  • Presence of visual problems
  • Presence of vestibular problems
  • Presence of neurological conditions
  • Inability to follow instructions due to behavioral problems
  • Refusal to participate
