The goal of this study is to investigate the value of MR elastography-based SII as a means of detecting HGP noninvasively in patients with pathology-proven CRLM. MRE will provide a direct measure of tumor-liver adhesion to investigate the relationship between imaging findings and pathophysiological changes in the Liver.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Diagnosed colorectal liver metastases
  • Pathologic results available from surgical patients
  • No contraindications for MRI examination
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Poor image quality not meeting measurement standards
  • Colorectal liver metastases smaller than 1 cm in diameter
  • Presence of dysfunction in other important organs
  • Presence of other malignant tumors
  • Patients who do not provide informed consent
  • Presence of metallic implants or foreign bodies such as pacemakers, artificial metallic heart valves, metal joints, metal implants, non-removable dentures, insulin pumps, or contraceptive rings
