Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Female aged 18 years or older
- Able to provide written informed consent
- Recently diagnosed with breast cancer
- Estimated tumor size of 2.0 cm or less based on imaging
- Breast biopsy performed at least 10 days before the MRg-NIRS exam
You will not qualify if you...
- Any contraindication to MRI including electronic implants (e.g., pacemaker), metal implants (e.g., aneurysm clip), claustrophobia, or renal failure with creatinine clearance less than 30 mL/1.73 m2 BSA
- Pregnant women
- Presence of breast implants
- Prisoners
- Poor healing from breast biopsy
