Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Male or female patients aged 18 to 65 years
  • Diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis according to the 2017 Revised McDonald criteria
  • Disability status with an EDSS score between 0 and 6.5
  • Relapsing or progressive MS as defined by Lublin
  • Neurologically stable within 1 month before screening
  • Receiving the same Disease Modifying Treatment for at least 6 months
  • Healthy controls must have normal hearing and normal or corrected-to-normal vision
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Patients unable or unwilling to cooperate or comply with study requirements
  • Patients with other demyelinating diseases of the central nervous system
  • Patients with active or treated immune system diseases other than MS
  • Patients with other significant central nervous system diseases or serious psychiatric disorders
  • Patients unable or unwilling to undergo MRI scans and EEG
  • Healthy controls with diagnosed neurological, mental, developmental, or psychiatric disorders
  • Healthy controls with unrecovered neurological disorders such as stroke or traumatic brain injury
  • Unstable medication within the last 3 months
  • Use of central nervous system drugs like antidepressants
  • Severe physical disorders
  • Participation in another relevant study
  • Patients unable or unwilling to undergo EEG measurements
