Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Be between 13 and 85 years old at the time of consent
  • Fully understand the study and voluntarily agree to participate with signed consent
  • Be deemed eligible by the researcher after physical exams, lab tests, and questionnaires
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Have a Body Mass Index (BMI) below 17.0 or above 30.0
  • Have resting systolic blood pressure 2160 mmHg or diastolic blood pressure 2100 mmHg with symptoms like headaches
  • Have used specified drugs within a set period before microbiome collection
  • Received any vaccination within 4 weeks before microbiome collection
  • Used topical antibiotics or steroids on face, scalp, neck, arms, forearms, or hands within 24 hours before microbiome collection
  • Applied vaginal or vulvar medications within 24 hours before microbiome collection
  • Have an acute disease at enrollment (moderate or severe illness with or without fever)
  • Have chronic significant disorders affecting liver, digestion, circulation, kidneys, nerves, lungs, endocrine, immune, or blood systems, or history of cancer, psychiatric conditions, or substance abuse
  • Made rapid dietary changes for weight gain or loss within 4 weeks before microbiome collection
  • Have positive serological tests for hepatitis B, hepatitis C, or HIV, or abnormal lab results
  • Have history of gastrointestinal surgery except simple procedures like appendectomy, cholecystectomy, or hernia repair
  • Have uncontrolled gastrointestinal conditions affecting microbiome analysis such as IBD, IBS requiring medication, ulcers, pancreatitis, or chronic constipation
  • Have ankylosing spondylitis
  • Require regular use of incontinence diapers
  • Are pregnant, lactating, or have a positive pregnancy test
  • Have any medical conditions that may affect sample quality at microbiome collection
