Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Documented informed consent of the participant
  • Age 18 years or older
  • ECOG performance status of 3 or less
  • Ability to read and understand English
  • Newly diagnosed with histologically confirmed multiple myeloma
  • May have started first line therapies and received up to four cycles
  • Healthcare provider participants must be licensed physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, or registered nurses
  • Healthcare providers must currently practice in oncology or provide direct care to oncology patients
  • Healthcare providers must be affiliated with City of Hope
  • Healthcare providers must be able to read and understand English
  • Healthcare providers must provide documented informed consent
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Patients must not have completed five cycles of first line therapy or undergone any second line therapy
  • Patients with other active malignancies
  • Patients who have undergone autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation
  • Patients unable to comply with study assessments
  • Healthcare providers reporting directly to the study principal investigator (Dr. Richard Lee)
  • Healthcare providers who are members of the study team or involved in survey design or analysis
  • Healthcare providers with a real or perceived conflict of interest that could bias survey responses
