Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Male and female patients aged between 18 and 75 years
- Diabetes mellitus type-2 patients with mild to moderate risk of foot ulceration (grade 2)
- Patients with type-2 diabetes and a history of diabetic foot ulcers (grade 3) healed for at least 6 months
You will not qualify if you...
- History or evidence of current foot ulcers (for population 1)
- Infections in progress
- Ongoing neoplasms
- Receiving immunosuppressive therapies or cortisone-based therapy
- Pregnancy or lactation
- Unable to provide informed consent
