Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Normal cognition for healthy controls or diagnosis of mild cognitive impairment for MCI participants
  • Right-handedness
  • Compatible with magnetic resonance imaging and high-definition transcranial direct current stimulation (no metallic or electronic implants in the upper body or head)
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • History of neurological or medical conditions affecting cognitive function
  • Significant mental illness
  • Sensory impairments limiting participation
  • History of alcohol or drug abuse or dependence
