Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Infants under 12 months with a diagnosis of cerebral palsy or considered at high risk of cerebral palsy
- Infants at high risk defined by any two of the following: neuroimaging predictive of motor disability involving sensori-motor cortex, basal ganglia, posterior limb of the internal capsule, or pyramids
- Trajectory of cramped synchronized general movements or absent fidgety general movements at fidgety age
- Hammersmith Infant Neurological Exam (HINE) scores less than 57 at 3 months, less than 60 at 6 months, or less than 63 at 9 months
- Infants with unilateral brain injury on neuroimaging predictive of cerebral palsy and clinical signs of asymmetry, even if HINE scores are above the cutoffs
You will not qualify if you...
- Infants with progressive or neurodegenerative disorders or genetic disorders not associated with cerebral palsy
- Infants with other disability diagnoses such as Down Syndrome
