Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Age 18 years or older
- Plan for the withdrawal of life sustaining measures (WLSM)
- Attending physician expects patient will die within 24 hours of WLSM withdrawal
- Patient has an indwelling arterial cannula for blood pressure monitoring
You will not qualify if you...
- Brain death or plan for Neurologic Determination of Death (NDD)
- Injuries that prevent use of neurologic monitoring
