The goal of this observational clinical trial is to establish a new method for differentiating benign and malignant pulmonary nodules by peripheral blood detection in patients with pulmonary nodules (\<3cm). Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Age 18 years
- Presence of pulmonary nodule smaller than 3 cm on CT imaging scheduled for biopsy or surgery
- Up to two target lesions of the same density type allowed
- Good health with ECOG performance status between 0 and 2
- Adequate organ function as defined by blood counts and liver/kidney function tests
- Ability to understand and voluntarily sign informed consent
You will not qualify if you...
- Imaging suggests possible metastasis to other sites
- Two or more target lesions of different density types
- History of malignant disease
- Severe vascular lesions in last 3 months, active infections, severe cardiovascular, cerebrovascular, liver, renal, endocrine, or metabolic disorders
- Contraindications to biopsy or surgery such as coagulation disorders or cardiorespiratory insufficiency
- History of uncontrolled epilepsy, central nervous system disease, or psychiatric disorders affecting consent
- Pregnant or breastfeeding women
- Other conditions deemed unsuitable by the investigator
