In this project, the investigators aim to investigate the imaging approaches for breast cancer-related secondary lymphedema. The clinical study aims to optimize the conventional MRI methods for mapping lymphedema and assess the post-surgical therapeutic effects in longitudinal follow-up studies. You may qualify if you...

  • Adults with breast cancer related lymphedema
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Children younger than 20 years old
  • Pregnancy
  • Patients with cardiac implantable electronic devices such as pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators, or cardiac resynchronization therapy devices
  • Presence of metallic intraocular foreign bodies
  • Patients with implantable neurostimulation systems
  • Patients with cochlear implants or ear implants unless specific conditions are met
  • Patients with drug infusion pumps unless the device is removed
  • Presence of catheters with metallic components such as Swan-Ganz catheter
  • Presence of metallic fragments like bullets, shotgun pellets, or metal shrapnel
  • Presence of cerebral artery aneurysm clips
  • Presence of magnetic dental implants
  • Presence of tissue expanders
  • Presence of artificial limbs
  • Use of hearing aids
