Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Participant is generally healthy and between 18 and 90 years of age at the time of signing consent
- Participant must be available for 4 visits to Spectrum Ergonomics over a 4-week period, one visit per week
- Participant must be able to walk comfortably for 1 mile
- The study seeks 5 male and 5 female participants in pilot phases
You will not qualify if you...
- Flat feet (Pes planus) or high arches (Pes cavus)
- Unilateral leg amputee
- Females who are pregnant, less than 3 months postpartum, or currently lactating
- Major surgery less than 6 months or minor surgery less than 3 months before enrollment
- Major infections such as sepsis or pneumonia less than 3 months before enrollment
- Myocardial infarction or heart failure less than 5 years before enrollment in pilot phases and less than 1 year in field study
- Ankle fusion or total replacement
- Morbid obesity with BMI greater than 40
- Brittle diabetes (hard-to-control diabetes) in the field study
- Peripheral neuropathy
- Loss of sensation in the sole of the foot
- Open wound on the foot
