Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Participant is generally healthy and between 18 and 90 years of age at the time of signing consent
  • Participant must be available for 4 visits to Spectrum Ergonomics over a 4-week period, one visit per week
  • Participant must be able to walk comfortably for 1 mile
  • The study seeks 5 male and 5 female participants in pilot phases
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Flat feet (Pes planus) or high arches (Pes cavus)
  • Unilateral leg amputee
  • Females who are pregnant, less than 3 months postpartum, or currently lactating
  • Major surgery less than 6 months or minor surgery less than 3 months before enrollment
  • Major infections such as sepsis or pneumonia less than 3 months before enrollment
  • Myocardial infarction or heart failure less than 5 years before enrollment in pilot phases and less than 1 year in field study
  • Ankle fusion or total replacement
  • Morbid obesity with BMI greater than 40
  • Brittle diabetes (hard-to-control diabetes) in the field study
  • Peripheral neuropathy
  • Loss of sensation in the sole of the foot
  • Open wound on the foot
