Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Age 18 years or older and younger than 80 years, male or female
- Signed informed consent and willing to participate
- Diagnosed with malignant tumors (laryngeal, esophageal, lung, gastric, colorectal, liver, pancreatic cancer) at clinical stage II to IV
- Undergoing tumor surgery
- Nutritional Risk Screening (NRS 2002) score of 3 or higher
- Basic reading and communication skills
- Ability to act independently
- Life expectancy greater than 6 months
You will not qualify if you...
- Acute onset of chronic disease
- Pregnant or lactating women
- Contraindications to tumor surgery
- Malignant tumors confirmed by pathology or cytology after surgery
- Cognitive dysfunction, mental disorder, consciousness disorder, or unwillingness to cooperate
- Severe gastrointestinal symptoms or liver and kidney insufficiency (ALT, total bilirubin, or creatinine levels twice above normal)
- Patients with two or more types of tumors
- Long-term bed rest, hemiplegia, or coma
- Severe dysfunction of liver, kidney, or other organs
- Allergy or intolerance to nutrients or their main components (e.g., lactose or galactose)
