Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Age 18 years or older at the time of hypertension diagnosis
- Hypertension diagnosis confirmed by ICD or CIAP codes in the electronic medical record, or at least two consecutive blood pressure readings of 140/90 mmHg or higher within 30 days during the study period
- Continuous follow-up in the same municipality for at least 6 months after the initial measurement
- Availability of structured electronic medical record data including clinical encounters, diagnoses, and prescriptions

- Patients with incomplete data or those who cannot be traced in the registration systems
