Observational Study of Sex Differences in Symptoms During Immune Checkpoint Inhibitor Treatment for People With Cancer
Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Age 18 years or older at enrollment
- Histologically confirmed cancer diagnosis
- Plan to begin standard-of-care immunotherapy for cancer treatment according to FDA or NCCN guidelines
- Treating oncologist expects at least 6 consecutive months of standard-of-care immunotherapy
You will not qualify if you...
- Diagnosis of breast, prostate, testicular, penile, or gynecologic cancer
- Previous immunotherapy treatment
- Life expectancy less than 6 months at enrollment
- Receiving non-immunotherapy treatments such as chemotherapy, biological, or targeted therapy concurrently
- Receiving radiation therapy unless it is hypofractionated palliative radiation for symptom relief
- Participation in a clinical trial of experimental immunotherapy
- Requires a proxy to complete patient-reported outcome surveys
- Unable or unwilling to complete electronic consent and surveys
