Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Diagnosis of classical trigeminal neuralgia according to the International Classification of Headache Disorders
- Trigeminal neuralgia resistant to maximum tolerated medical therapy with pain intensity score IV or V on the Barrow Neurological Institute scale
- Patients aged over 18 years
You will not qualify if you...
- Patients with secondary trigeminal neuralgia caused by tumor in the cerebellopontine angle, arteriovenous malformation, or multiple sclerosis
- Previous history of radiosurgery procedure
