Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Ability to understand and sign an IRB-approved informed consent
- Age between 18 and 64 years at the time of consent
- Initial diagnosis of Acute Myeloid Leukemia confirmed by bone marrow biopsy
- Planned intensive induction chemotherapy, started within 30 days if already initiated
- Ability to read and understand English or Spanish
- Ability to understand and comply with study procedures for the entire study duration
You will not qualify if you...
- Diagnosis of Acute Promyelocytic Leukemia
- Unwilling to receive induction chemotherapy for AML
- Previous treatment for any blood cancer
- Prior allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplant
