Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Patients with a clinical diagnosis of perforated peptic ulcer fit for surgery by open or laparoscopic methods
  • Male or female patients of any age
  • Patients with gastric or duodenal ulcer
  • Patients with American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) grade I, II, or III
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Patients with bleeding ulcers requiring additional bleeding control
  • Patients with other diseases besides perforated peptic ulcer
  • Patients with American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) grade IV, V, or VI
