Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Patients with a clinical diagnosis of perforated peptic ulcer fit for surgery by open or laparoscopic methods
- Male or female patients of any age
- Patients with gastric or duodenal ulcer
- Patients with American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) grade I, II, or III
You will not qualify if you...
- Patients with bleeding ulcers requiring additional bleeding control
- Patients with other diseases besides perforated peptic ulcer
- Patients with American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) grade IV, V, or VI
