Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Adult patients aged over 18 years with primary non-pulsatile tinnitus regardless of hearing
- Tinnitus lasting at least 3 months
- Willingness to use and access to a smartphone capable of running the Oto app
- Willing and able to provide written informed consent
- Patients who would be offered tinnitus retraining therapy (TRT) as management for their tinnitus
You will not qualify if you...
- Patients with secondary tinnitus confirmed by MRI
- Patients currently receiving other tinnitus therapies, including hearing aids or implants
- Patients unwilling or unable to use the app due to lack of a suitable phone or personal limitations
