Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Newly diagnosed or relapsed malignancy with proposed treatment containing at least one of the following: whole abdomen or pelvic irradiation, total body irradiation
- Proposed treatment regimen including cyclophosphamide equivalent dose E=7.5 g/m2, any regimen containing procarbazine, or bone marrow transplant conditioning with alkylators
- Health condition or malignancy requiring removal of one or both ovaries
- Health status adequate to undergo elective laparoscopic surgery as assessed by an anesthesiologist
You will not qualify if you...
- Pregnancy or currently breastfeeding
- Eligible for and agreeing to oocyte preservation
- High risk for complications from surgery or anesthesia
- Unable to provide consent due to psychiatric conditions or cognitive delay (parent/guardian consent required if under 18)
