Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Patients aged from 0 to 35 years old diagnosed with cancer such as leukemia, myeloproliferative or myelodysplastic diseases, lymphoma, bone tumors, neurological neoplasms, sarcoma, or pediatric bone marrow transplant patients
- Patients with illnesses or treatments causing irreversible fertility damage, including extensive abdominal surgery or high toxicity medications
- Patients with hormone-sensitive cancers undergoing treatments like radiotherapy or chemotherapy that may harm ovarian function
You will not qualify if you...
- Patients without planned oncologic therapies
- Patients who are pregnant
- Children with only one ovary
- Children at high risk for complications from surgery
- Patients unable to give consent or assent due to psychiatric problems or cognitive delay
