Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Signed informed consent
- Male or female aged 70 years or older
- Currently hospitalized at the study site
- Nutrition Risk Screening 2002 (NRS-2002) score of 3 or higher
- Estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) of 30 mL/min/1.73 m2 or higher within the last 6 months
- Able to eat by mouth
You will not qualify if you...
- Acute cardiovascular event within the past 2 days
- Terminal illness
- Diagnosed with pancreatic exocrine insufficiency and receiving pancreatic enzyme replacement therapy
- Planned transplant or new dialysis treatment within the next 6 months
- History of colectomy, small intestine resection, or gallbladder removal
- Known allergy to any components of the oral nutritional supplements or pancrelipase
