Eligibility Criteria

Eligible

You may qualify if you...

  • Caregiver is the parent or legal guardian of a youth currently detained in juvenile detention or mandated to an out-of-home placement
  • Youth is aged 12 to 17 years
  • Youth has a diagnosed substance use or substance use and mental health need
  • Youth is scheduled for release to the enrolled caregiver's care
  • Behavioral health providers must provide substance use or dual diagnosis treatment to justice-involved youth and caregivers
  • Behavioral health providers must be over 18 years old and speak English fluently
  • Juvenile probation officers must be 18 years or older and speak fluent English
Not Eligible

You will not qualify if you...

  • Lack of proficiency in English
  • Cognitive impairment or active psychosis preventing informed consent
  • Caregivers without access to a device with internet cannot participate
