Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Caregiver is the parent or legal guardian of a youth currently detained in juvenile detention or mandated to an out-of-home placement
- Youth is aged 12 to 17 years
- Youth has a diagnosed substance use or substance use and mental health need
- Youth is scheduled for release to the enrolled caregiver's care
- Behavioral health providers must provide substance use or dual diagnosis treatment to justice-involved youth and caregivers
- Behavioral health providers must be over 18 years old and speak English fluently
- Juvenile probation officers must be 18 years or older and speak fluent English
You will not qualify if you...
- Lack of proficiency in English
- Cognitive impairment or active psychosis preventing informed consent
- Caregivers without access to a device with internet cannot participate
