What this Trial Is About
This study investigates prosthetic users´ report of passive microprocessor-controlled knees (pMPK) vs. active microprocessor-controlled knees (aMPK). Outcome measurements are assessed at baseline with the pMPK and after 4 weeks of continuous use of aMPK. Measurements consists of functional outcomes, as well as patient-reported outcomes.

Who Can Participate
Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- Have transfemoral amputation or knee disarticulation
- Currently use a passive microprocessor-controlled knee
- Expect to receive a new prosthesis within the next few months
- Have a mobility level of K-Level 2 or 3
- Weigh no more than 125 kg
- Are able to speak German
You will not qualify if you...
- Are under 18 years old
- Are unable to give informed consent
- Weigh more than 125 kg
