The goal of this clinical trial is to explore the pathophysiological effects of the persistently colonized microbiome in irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) patients. Eligibility Criteria
You may qualify if you...
- IBS patients with IV type
- No history of abdominal surgery
You will not qualify if you...
- Age under 18 years
- Major diseases
- Alcohol addiction
- Antibiotic use in the past 3 months
- Severe gastrointestinal disease
- Severe cardiac disease
- Pregnant
- Intensive care unit admission in the past year
- Vegetarian diet
- Immune diseases such as SLE
- Mental diseases
